Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine filed a lawsuit on May 31 against five leading prescription opioid manufacturers that he said contributed to the state’s deadly addiction crisis. 

The Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) is providing advanced training to more law enforcement officers than ever thanks in part to live webcasts and online courses, according to
a six-year review.

The first phase of a law enforcement training village, complete with simulators and live role players, was unveiled by Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine on May 9 and is now open to officers who take courses at the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA) in London.
