(Columbus, OH)–Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today that Ohio is part of a $92 million multistate settlement with JP Morgan Chase & Co. in an ongoing nationwide investigation of alleged anticompetitive and fraudulent conduct in the municipal bond derivatives industry.

BCI’s investigation began in July 2011, after the Warren Police Department requested help looking into activity at Warren massage parlors.   Working with Trumbull County Prosecutor Dennis Watkins, the BCI investigation has led to today’s search warrants, during which agents will interview witnesses and gather evidence.  The Ohio Attorney General’s Office and Prosecutor Watkins will evaluate whether a nuisance action should be filed in an effort to close these locations.

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today a new pilot program to help homeless 18 to 24 year-olds who often have trouble receiving assistance and are disproportionately victims of crime.  The Older Youth Victim of Crime Initiative will focus especially on those who have "aged-out" of the foster care system.

(POLAND, Ohio) -- Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today delivered a check for $19,036 to the Pediatric Hospice Care Program of the Humility of Mary's Hospice of the Valley in Poland, Ohio.

(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today that Dr. Jeffrey Glenn, of Cincinnati, has been sentenced to five years of community control and ordered to pay restitution of $225,000, after pleading guilty to one count of aggravated theft, a third-degree felony.

According to investigators, the defendants were each caught cheating on various casino games such as Black Jack, Texas Hold'Em, Roulette and Craps.
