May 31, 2011 – Bicycle Helmets Recalled by Bell Sports Due to Head Injury Hazard:  The plastic buckle that connects the chin straps can fail, causing the helmet to come off the wearer’s head.  Consumers should stop using the helmets immediately and contact Bell Sports by calling 866-892-6059, via e-mail at answer_desk@bellsports.com, or by visiting the firm's website at www.bellsports.com for a replacement or refund.

June 1, 2011 - Kahn Enterprises Recalls Beeni Baby Hats Due to Asphyxiation Hazard:  A baby can spit up during use, posing an asphyxiation hazard.  Consumers should immediately stop using the hats and contact Kahn Enterprises via email at info@beeni-kids.com, visit the firm’s website at www.beeni.net or call the firm collect at (612) 310-4053 to receive a full refund.

June 2, 2011 - Musical Shaker Instrument Recalled by Woodstock Percussion Due to Laceration and Choking Hazard: The handle can detach from the shaker, exposing a rough edge and posing a laceration hazard. The detached handle also exposes small steel pellets and a plastic plug which pose choking hazards. Consumers should stop using the product immediately and contact Woodstock Percussion Inc. toll free at (866) 543-2848 anytime, via email at safety@chimes.com, or visit the website at www.woodstockpercussion.net to receive a $7 refund.
