(AKRON, Ohio) – Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine is asking for the public’s help locating a convicted rapist who failed to register his address in July.
Tyonne James Hosey, who is known to go by the alias Tyronne, spent time in prison for the rape of a juvenile female. He was released in 2006 and classified as a sexually oriented offender with the requirement to register his address once a year for ten years.
According to public records, Hosey did not meet his most recent registration requirements, and deputies with the Summit County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest on July 24, 2012.
His last known address was 505 Castle Boulevard in Akron.
Hosey has four tattoos, including the words “Cry Now” on his right forearm and “Laugh Later” on his left forearm, and “Bar” on his right forearm and “None” on his left forearm. He also has a scar on his nose.

This news release is part of Attorney General Mike DeWine’s Crimes Against Children Initiative. As part of the Crimes Against Children Initiative, Attorney General DeWine will publicize convicted sex offenders who have victimized children and are wanted on outstanding warrants. Other parts of the initiative include the establishment of a Crimes Against Children Unit at BCI, creation of a rapid response team for crimes against children, and specialized law enforcement training through BCI and the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA).
