Seventeen Indicted in Connection with Drug Trafficking Organization

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine joined Stark County Sheriff George Maier, Stark County Prosecutor John Ferrero, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) to announce a 126-count indictment against 17 individuals accused of taking part in a drug trafficking organization operating in Stark County.

Mold Removal Specialist Accused of False Advertising

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced a lawsuit against Mold Foundation Specialist LLC and its owner, Scott Stidham. The lawsuit accuses the Loveland-based business of failing to substantiate claims in advertisements and failing to deliver promised services.

Attorney General DeWine Announces Sunshine Laws Training Now Online

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today that his office’s Sunshine Laws Training, traditionally presented in-person at regional sites, is now also available as an online video course. The course is available to anyone through the Attorney General’s website at no cost to the user and is approved for three hours of self-study Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credit by the Supreme Court of Ohio.

Sex Offender to Spend Additional 15 Years in Prison for Assault of Second Juvenile

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine announced today that a convicted sex offender has been sentenced to serve an additional 15 years in prison following his conviction on charges that he sexually assaulted a second child.

Attorney General DeWine Releases 2014 Economic Development Compliance Report

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today released his 2014 Report to the General Assembly on Award Recipient Compliance with State Awards for Economic Development. The report, which is required to be submitted by the Attorney General to the General Assembly pursuant to statute, analyzes compliance with the terms of economic development awards for recipients which had performance periods ending in calendar year 2013.
