Advanced Training

The Advanced Training Section provides specialized training for peace officers in areas such as Firearms and Specialty Munitions, Human Relations, Investigations, Management and Advanced Driving. In addition to these topics, the Advanced Training staff also conducts Instructor Level courses for numerous topics. The Law Enforcement Training Officers in the Advanced Training section work with the Education and Policy section to revise basic training curriculum.
