VINE Training

Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE) system is a free, anonymous information and notification system that provides custody and release status updates about inmates housed in state prisons, county jails and with the Ohio Department of Youth Services. The Ohio Attorney General's Office trains law enforcement agencies on how to use this service as an investigative tool for law enforcement to locate suspects and check on warrants for statewide searches. This training is also especially beneficial for sheriffs’ offices as VINE collects data from their jail booking systems.
