Details

On 04/24/1988, 32yr old Jerome Lusane was attending a function at the UAW Union Hall, in the City of Lorain, Ohio. During the party, a group of younger males crashed the party. There were a series of disturbances with these males and they were escorted from the property. One of the males was believed to have gone to a car to retrieve a gun. He fired multiple shots and Jerome Lusane was apparently struck by one of them. Mr. Lusane was taken to the hospital by others from the party. Several of the people attending the party were interviewed, but the suspects were never identified. Mr. Lusane died of the gunshot wound in the emergency room. He told officers that he did not know who had shot him.
