Learning About Elder Abuse

Elder abuse cases can be confusing and complicated. Students attending this free, one-day course, Elder Abuse, will gain greater insight and understanding about this multifaceted issue. Instructors will help clarify the difference between civil and criminal matters. In addition, instructors will share where students can go for help and how to access resources as an investigator or responding patrol officer. Students will also learn about the dynamics of elder abuse, aspects of neglect, domestic violence, and financial exploitation.
