On October 26, 1988, 76yr old Lela Potts was at home on Vocational Road – County Route 35, near Byesville (Guernsey County) Ohio, where she was stabbed and cut multiple times, causing her death. Perpetrators appear to have broken into the house prior to the attack on Potts.
