Laboratory Unit Submission Policies

The BCI Evidence Receiving sections in the London, Richfield, Athens and Bowling Green facilities will be open to accept evidence from 9 am – 4 pm, closing for lunch from 12:00 – 12:30 until further notice.  We will continue to limit the number of submitters in our Evidence Receiving section at any one time.  We ask that individuals submitting evidence call the number posted on the exterior door when they arrive, and wait in their vehicle until they are notified they can enter the building for evidence submission.

Youngstown Evidence Receiving will be open by appointment only on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Cambridge Evidence Receiving remains closed until further notice.

Law Enforcement agencies can complete an OHLEG Prelog or the BCI Submission Sheet , as well as a Drug Request form for any drug evidence submissions, prior to arrival at the laboratory for evidence submission. In order to assure the integrity of the evidence and the safety of individuals handling packages, the BCI Laboratory will no longer accept evidence submitted via mail carrier effective January 1, 2021.
