Jaime joined the Attorney General’s Office in 2023, where she serves as a Senior Assistant Attorney General. Jaime is responsible for investigating and litigating cases involving violations of state and federal consumer protection laws.
Prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office, Jaime first worked in a bankruptcy firm before operating as a law partner in a small firm. She eventually started her own solo practice where her practice areas included criminal defense, bankruptcy, and family law. While operating her own firm, she also joined the Lucas County Public Defender’s Office working in the juvenile division as an assistant public defender. In February 2018, she was appointed as magistrate in the Toledo Municipal Court overseeing both a criminal and civil small claims docket while continuing to manage a civil caseload in her law practice.
