On December 3, 2012, at 4:15pm, a call to 911 was made after 43 year old Melinda Todd was found deceased, and her 5 year old grandson, Cole Reed, severely injured. It was determined that both had been beaten with a blunt instrument inside their State Route 45 residence in Salem Township.
