On May 11, 2017, at approximately 11:31 p.m., Columbus Police officers were called to the rear of 3115 Bremen Street on the report of an unresponsive male lying in the alley. Callers reported that they had heard several gunshots fifteen (15) or twenty (20) minutes earlier. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, later identified as 15yr old D'Ante Smith, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Medic 61 responded to the scene and pronounced the individual deceased at 11:39 p.m.
