On June 28, 2022, at approximately 8:09 p.m., Columbus Police responded to the area of E. 7th Avenue and Indianola Avenue on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, 23yr old Joshua Jones, inside of a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The vehicle that the victim occupied, had also struck a residence. The victim was subsequently transported to a local area hospital in critical condition. Update: Mr. Jones died on 6/29/2022 at 5:55 a.m.
