On April 15, 2018, at approximately 9:23 p.m., Columbus Police officers were called to the area of 553 South Terrace Avenue on the report of multiple gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located a black vehicle that had crashed into a tree. Inside the vehicle, officers found a male victim, later identified as 30yr old Jerome Grant, unconscious in the driver's seat, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic 12 responded to the scene and pronounced Mr. Grant deceased at 9:29 p.m.
