On April 23, 2022, at 6:10pm, Officers were dispatched to 2845 Noe-Bixby Rd, Nafzger Park, on a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, 19yr old Damarion Dawson, unresponsive and lying in the grass. Officers rendered medical aid until the medic arrived and transported the victim to an area hospital in critical condition. Despite receiving life saving medical care, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 7:07pm.
