On Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 11:59 PM, Columbus Police officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of W. Broad St. to investigate a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the officers found the victim, 21yr old Andrew Combs, suffering from visible injuries. The officers rendered medical aid to the victim prior to the arrival of Columbus Fire medics. The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition and, despite receiving medical treatment, was pronounced deceased at 12:56 AM.
