John Doe, #3031
Details
On 04/08/1986, the body of a black male was found on the ground, under I-90 northbound Innerbelt bridge, which passes over the I-77 cloverleaf just prior to the E. 22nd St. exit. The decedent appeared to be homeless and had set up camp in that location. The victim was approximately 60-65 years old and had gray, curly hair with sideburns, mustache and full beard. He was wearing a green Army jacket over a black jacket (maybe denim), over a red striped dress shirt. It was determined that this man had emphysema. Strewn about the area where the body was found were blankets, bags, clothing (not specified), glasses, gloves, socks, a camera, a radio, a sleeping bag, tarps, etc. Below are photos of the clothing items found in the vicinity of decedent when found. Dentals are available for comparison.
