On September 29, 2021, at 11:51pm, Patrol officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of Sullivant Ave on a Shotspotter call. Upon arrival, they located the victim, 31yr old Brandon Wheat lying in the alley unresponsive and suffering from gunshot wounds. Patrol officers rendered aid; however, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at scene by CFD Medic 817.
