On July 23, 2021, at 12:32 p.m., patrol officers responded on a shooting at 4027 Southpoint Blvd. Upon arrival, they found the victim, 33yr old Antonio Washington Jr. suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Grant Hospital and pronounced dead at 1:40 p.m. The suspect, a male black, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans fled east on foot and is still at large.
