Details

At 5:40 a.m. the victim was leaving her residence to go to her automobile which was parked at the rear of her home. Her adult son, who was in the home, heard her scream and honk her horn. This was followed quickly by a gun shot. Responding police units found the victim lying across the front seat of her auto. Her son observed a lone gunman flee the scene. The victim's purse was missing and robbery appears to have been the motive.
