On May 5, 2022, at approximately 9:52pm, officers were dispatched to the 6000 Block of McNaughten Center on the report of a shooting. Officer arrived at scene and found the victim, 21yr old Ra'Quan Thomas, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Officer performed life saving measures until CFD Medic #X32 transported the victim to Mt Carmel East Hospital. Despite receiving lifesaving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 10:14pm.
