On July 30, 2016, Samantha Jo Stewart was last seen alive by family members. On August 4, 2016, a rural property owner in Columbiana County, Ohio discovered the deceased nude body of Samantha Jo Stewart. Stewart was a resident of Weirton, West Virginia and believed to have traveled to Steubenville, Ohio to purchase drugs, prior to her death. Stewart was found approximately twenty miles north of Steubenville, Ohio. Stewart death has been ruled a homicide caused by blunt force trauma to the head.
