On November 23, 2018, at approximately 12:43 a.m., Columbus Police officers were called to the area of 630 Wrexham Avenue on the report of a shooting in front of the address. Upon arrival, Officers found an unresponsive male, lying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound. C.F.D. Medic 17 arrived at the scene and transported the victim, later identified as 28yr old Matthew Sloan, to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased by attending medical personnel at 1:20 a.m.
