Details

On August 21, 2021, at 2:22pm, Officers were dispatched to the 700 Block of South Highland Ave on a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers located a male victim lying in the front yard suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim, 30yr old Brandon Slate was transported to Grant Medical Center by Medic #817 in critical condition. Despite receiving life saving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 2:52pm.
