On April 26, 2020, at approximately 10:59PM, Patrol Officers responded to a shooting in the rear of 912 E. 17th Ave. Upon arrival, they located the victim, 25yr old Jimmi Simpson, inside a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Mr. Simpson was pronounced deceased at 11:08PM by CFD Medic 18. The second victim, who is not being identified at this time, was uninjured. The suspect(s) then fled the scene.
