Unsolved homicide – Michael Scarberry
Details
On Tuesday October 17, 2017 at approximately 10:40 p.m. the Columbus Division of Police received a call and were requested to respond to the area Sullivant Ave. and S. Central Ave. The initial information indicated that a person was "down and out". A male victim later identified as 29yr old Michael A. Scarberry was located and transported to Mount Carmel West Hospital by CFD Medic 10. It was later determined he was kicked and punched by 4 to 5 unknown males. His condition continued to deteriorate over the past week. He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on October 29th at 8:14 p.m. At this time there are no known suspects or motives.
