On June 1, 2019, at 7:31PM, patrol officers were dispatched to the area of E. Woodrow St and S 4th St. on multiple shots that were heard. Shotspotter put the incident location at 310 Stanaford Pl, so patrol officers checked that location, and were met by the residents of that location, who directed them to the victim, who had been shot multiple times.. CFD Medic #3 responded and transported 66yr old Wiley Ross to an area hospital in critical/life threatening condition, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced at 8:08PM. The motive in this incident is still unclear at this time.
