On July 29, 2021, at approximately 1:42am, officers were dispatched to the area of 1435 N. Cassady Ave on the report of a shooting. When officers arrived at scene, they discovered the victim, 20yr old Kaylian Redd suffering from a gunshot wound in the grass area at Airport Dr. and N. Cassady Ave. The victim was seen leaving the gas station across the street when a dark colored SUV fired several shots at the victim. The victim was pronounced deceased by CFD Medic 20 at 1:56am.
