On March 19, 2002, at approximately 8:15 a.m., Police Communications received a 911 call of shots fired. Witnesses reported hearing gunfire and then saw a body thrown from a vehicle at 1211 Jackson Street. The body of a black male was found on the sidewalk at this location with apparent gunshot wounds. The victim has been identified as 29yr old Karreem Pritchett of Dayton Street.
