On Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 4:52PM, Columbus Police Officers were called to Mount Carmel East Hospital on a report of a patient with a gunshot wound. On arrival, officers found the decedent, 27-year-old Malik Price, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Price had been transported to Mount Carmel East in a private vehicle, but did not survive his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 5:45PM.
