On January 12, 2018, at approximately 1:18 a.m., Columbus Police officers were called to 580 South Napoleon Avenue on the initial report of a home invasion and gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim, later identified as 54yr old Kelvin Lee Porter, lying in the driveway suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. CFD Medic 21 responded to the scene and transported Mr. Porter to Grant Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 2:03 a.m.
