On Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at approximately 4:47am, Columbus Police Officers responded to 1151 Heyl Ave on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers located the victims suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was transported by CFD Medic 14 to Grant Hospital in stable condition. The second victim, 30yr old Zachariah Perry was pronounced deceased by CFD Medic 3 at 5:13am.
