Details

On August 17, 2021, at approximately 1:15am, officers were dispatched to the area of Greenfield Dr and Canonby Pl on a report of shots fired. When officers arrived at scene, they discovered the victim, 35yr old Jermale Payton laying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers at scene performed life saving measures until Columbus Fire Medic #3 arrived and transported the victim to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.
