On Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at approximately 11:54 p.m., patrol officers were dispatched to a shooting at 49 East Moler Street. Patrol officers located the victim, 39yr old Gary W. Null II, inside the residence. Mr. Null sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body. Mr. Null was transported by personnel from CFD Medic 2 to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at 12:30 a.m.
