On September 15, 2016, at approximately 1:59 a.m., Columbus Police officers were called to 190 North Huron Avenue on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a victim, later identified as 32yr old Mr. Eric Murphy, suffering from a gunshot wound. C.F.D. Medic 10 arrived at the scene and transported Mr. Murphy to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased at 2:36 a.m.
