On Monday, December 26, 2016, at approximately 12:12 p.m., Columbus Police Officers and medics were dispatched to 1010 Caldwell Place on a report of a shooting. Officers arrived and found the victim, 19yr old Mohamud Mohamed inside of the residence, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was subsequently transported to Grant Hospital E.R., by C.F.D. Medic #8, in critical condition. Update: The victim succumbed to his injuries at approximately 9:24 p.m., on 12/26/2016.
