Justin Miller, 29, was the district manager of Heartland Cash Advance, 5290 Cleveland Ave., Columbus, Ohio – Franklin County. Justin was killed November 2, 2007. Justin departed the Heartland Cash Advance store around 7:30 p.m. that November evening. Miller was doing his usual rounds—making sure that one of his 11 stores and its employees were OK. He was walking to his car in the parking lot when the suspect, described by witnesses as between 5’6” and 6-feet tall and weighing 120 to 190 pounds and dressed entirely in black, walked up to Justin and shot him at near point blank range. The suspect then stood over Miller—who had fallen to the ground face-up in the parking lot—and shot him three more times in the chest in what may have been a robbery attempt. Investigators are attempting to locate anyone who may have information regarding this murder.
