On Saturday December 22, 2018, at approximately 5:04 p.m., the Columbus Division of Police received a call and were requested to respond to 73 S. Wayne Ave. Initial information indicated that a person had been shot. When patrol officers arrived, an adult male was discovered at that location and was in critical condition. The victim, 32yr old Jared Massiatte was transported to Grant Medical Center by CFD Medic 8. The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced at 7:58 p.m.
