Details

On July 29, 2021, at 1:34am, Columbus Police Officers were dispatched to the Mobil Service Station at 1509 Lockbourne Rd. on a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers located a male black victim lying in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, 57yr old Richard Lane was transported to a local area hospital by Medic 15 in critical condition. Unfortunately, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 2:02am.
