On June 23, 2021, at 2:58am, Patrol Officers were dispatched to the area of 1035 Atcheson St. on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, 21yr old Emonjanah Jones sitting in her vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. Columbus Fire Medic #8 arrived and pronounced the victim deceased at 3:18am.
