Details

On September 21, 2022, patrol officers responded to a shots fired complaint in the 1700 block of Parkford Ln. While en route, the responding officers were directed to the 1600 block of Harvester Ln. to search for a person who had been shot. Upon arrival, the officers located the victim, 33yr old Mayfield Evans III, who was suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid to the victim prior to the medics arrival. The victim was transported to a local area hospital in critical condition. Despite receiving lifesaving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 12:02 AM.
