On September 30, 2019, at 8:09 a.m., a citizen called the Police and stated that there was a dead body lying outside of 950 Mt. Vernon Avenue. Patrol responded and discovered 18yr old TaShaun Darby who had been shot and died as a result of his injuries. The victim was pronounced dead at scene by CFD Engine #8 at 9:18 a.m.
