On Saturday, October 12, 2019 at approximately 2:43 a.m., Columbus Police Officers were called to 1248 Brookway Road Apt D, on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, Officers found an injured female, lying on the floor of the residence, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic 23 responded to the scene and transported the victim, later identified as 43yr old Brandi Crump, to Grant Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased at 3:14 a.m.
