On Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 9:42PM, Columbus Police Officers were called to the 1800 block of E. Rich St. on a report of a shooting. On arrival, officers found 25-year-old Dontae Crowder suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic 8 transported Crowder to Grant Hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced deceased at 10:07PM.
