On July 24, 2021, officers were dispatched to the area of 3317 Balford Sq. S. on the report of a shooting. Officers arrived at scene and found a male who was laying on a walking path that went between the houses. The officer performed life saving measures until Columbus Fire Medics arrived. Despite the officers effort, the victim, 44yr old George Craft was pronounced deceased at 5:31am by Medic 823.
