On 11/09/1996 at approximately 0050hrs., officers were sent to 762 South Union Street in reference to several people having been shot while attending a party at that location. The victim, Aaron Cowan had been standing outside in front of the house when he was shot and killed by unknown assailants. At least three other people were wounded by gunfire with multiple rounds having been fired toward the house.
