Details

On August 3, 2018, at approximately 12:10 a.m., Columbus Police officers were called to 442 S. Yale Avenue on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male victim, later identified as 29yr old Tabyus Chappell, lying outside the front of the residence suffering from a gunshot wound. CFD Medic 10 responded to the scene and transported Mr. Chappell to Mt. Carmel West Hospital, where at 12:40 a.m. he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by attending medical personnel.
