On Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at approximately 8:35 a.m. CPD Officers and Medics were dispatched to 2539 Courtright Road on a report of a person laying in the grass. Officers arrived and found 32yr old Corday Burgess in front of 2533 Courtright Road not responding and suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased by C.F.D. Medic #4, at approximately 8:43 a.m.
